Carbonized fiber braided packing is manufactured by heating polyacrylonitrile fiber into carbonized fiber, which is then woven into packing after impregnation in PTFE dispersion and heat-resistant lubricant. This material is used as dynamic sealing in the presence of weak acid or alkaline media, or media that contains few solid particle grains.
